Raw files don't have any color space defined, they are simply a list of the RGB values of each pixel. Raw files have a camera defined color space. They have a color space assigned at creation. ![]() On1 will convert a files color space to its internal space on file load. We have no control over the internal edit color space used. All edits are done in their internal color space, which I believe is ProPhoto. On1 does not really let you "assign" a color space. Only luck occurs when the file color space matches the monitor color space.įaststone is color management aware looking a their DOC but you have to enable the feature and make sure embedded profiles are used. If FastStone cannot use your monitor color profile for display purposes then it can never properly display any file regardless of what it's color space is.
